Even though I am still a fan of the French president Marcon, I was disappointed by his performance during the second round of the presidential debate against Madam Le Pen on 20-April-2022. I found him too aggressive and arrogant during the debate. In fact, he was upset and irritated by Le Pen a few times. In addition, his body language was too defensive. In a few occasions, he did not stop attacking Le Pen or defending himself even when the journalists told him his time was over.
At the presidential debate with Le Pen five years ago, he was much calmer and more composed. I think perhaps he was a ‘victim’ of his own success as a president and forgot about the importance of humility. Unfortunately, Le Pen exploited this opportunity and portrayed Macron as an arrogant president who insulted and did not respect the citizens. It would be better if Macron could pay more attention to his manner and regain his emotional resilience. France, more than ever, needs a president that is intelligent, rational, emotionally robust and close to the citizens.

Mon Blog : Macron et le débat présidentiel
Même si je suis fan du président Macron, j’ai été déçu par son débat présidentiel durant plus de trois heures contre Madame Le Pen le 20 avril 2022. Pour ma part, j’ai trouvé qu’il était trop agressif et arrogant lors du débat. En effet, il a été provoqué par Le Pen et était énervé dans plusieurs occasions. De plus, son langage corporal était trop défensif à mon avis. Parfois, il n’a pas arrêté sa parole en dépit des demandes par les journalistes.
Dans le débat avec Le Pen il y a cinq ans, il avait été plus calme et mieux retenu. Je crois qu’il peut-être était une « victime » de son succès comme un président et a oublié l’importance de l’humilité. Malheureusement, Le Pen a utilisé cet évènement et a déclaré que Macron était un président arrogant qui insultait et ne respectait pas les citoyens. Il vaut mieux que Macron fasse attention à sa manière et récupère sa résilience émotionnelle. La France, forcément, a besoin d’un président intelligent, rationnel, solide émotionnellement et proche des citoyens.
