I am invited to a dinner party tonight organized by a group of good friends in London.
And they warned me on the email invitation that rule #1, “please DON’T turn it into a book launch party.”
I replied later and confirmed that “After a few attempts, I failed to persuade Raymond not to make it into his book launch.
However, he will be restrained during the dinner and only try to sell his book to you and leave your parents and relatives alone.”
Will see if this is the end of a beginning or the beginning of an end to my social life!
