I passed my first month at new job today – YES!!!
I am very happy and will continue to adapt, contribute and learn at this new job.
One point that I think is important on keeping oneself motivated is to align some elements of the new job with your own personality and preference. For example, if team work is important to you, then you should spend more time listening and exchanging your ideas with your new colleagues. In addition, if you are a strong problem solver, then finding solutions for problems at your new job should come easily and “naturally”.
We can always try to identify the more appealing elements from it to keep ourselves more motivated regardless it is an ideal job or not.

Un nouveau travail
Aujourd’hui marque la fin de mon premier mois dans ce travail. YES !!!
Je suis très content et je vais continuer à m’adapter, contribuer et apprendre au même temps.
A propos de la motivation, un point important est d’identifier les éléments du poste qui correspondent à votre comportement et vos préférences. Par exemple, si la communication avec les gens est importante pour vous, vous devez passer plus du temps pour écouter et échanger vos idées avec vos nouveaux collègues. Par ailleurs, si vous êtes fort pour résoudre des problèmes (« problem solving »), vous pourriez trouver des solutions avec aisance et passion.
Un peu importe que ce soit un poste idéal ou non, vous pourriez identifier des éléments plaisants pour rester plus motivé.
